My name is Faviola Herrera. I am 28 years old and reside in Brooklyn, NY. I am a wife, mother of two, dog mom, entrepreneur, cake artist, baker, photographer, social media content creator/editor and MORE. As a business owner, I wear many hats and I am very thankful for the success and continued support of Emilia's Cake and Bake.

I graduated from Medgar Evers College with a Bachelors of Science in Public Administration in 2020. I planned to find a career in my field but soon after graduating I had the idea of starting a cupcake business... My cousin Gabby and I used to always bake for our kid's birthdays so we had a little experience but how would I do it? The very next day  my mother-in-law, who knew nothing about my new idea, gifted me a cupcake recipe set. I took that as a sign and as my confirmation that I was on the right path. So in May, 2020- Emilia’s Cake and Bake was born! Initially, we only offered cupcakes, but in December, 2020 I baked my first cake. It was for my best friend's birthday (it was so bad haha) but I didn't give up. Since then, I have continued to learn, grow, and practice to ensure my skills are up to par. Practice, practice, practice and a lot of patience has brought us this point! 

One of my favorite things about what I do is feeling like I'm a part of your special days! Seeing the cake tables or the pictures and videos of my treats at your event gives me a great sense of pride and accomplishment. I work extremely hard to guarantee the best and highest quality products because not only do I want your treats to look good, but they should taste good too. Thanks to the support of our customer's past, present, and future we have been able to continue growing and expanding and I am so looking forward to what the future holds!
